Géraldine CALBERT – Design and Furniture

After graduating in interior and environmental design in La Cambre ENSAV in Brussels, where she resides, Géraldine Calbert has been conceiving her own objects and pieces of furniture in her studio. The materials she uses are given a second life as she modifies their appearance and provides them with a new function. Textures and contrasts are at the heart of touching yet simple series that see Géraldine create variations on size, color and thickness, giving birth to objects that are both unique and similar, and which come in response to a specific functionality.
